What You Will Be Doing

• Carry out a wide range of routine and complex clinical laboratory procedures spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, urinalysis, and microbiology, all within established protocols and quality standards.
• Scrutinize test results for accuracy, investigate and resolve discrepancies, and perform scheduled calibration and preventative maintenance on all relevant instrumentation.
• Support specimen collection workflows and prepare samples appropriately prior to analysis.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all procedures, contribute to onboarding and training of incoming staff or students, and actively uphold the laboratory's quality assurance framework.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with all applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or a closely related allied health discipline—or an equivalent combination of education and certification preparation through ASCP or AMT pathways.

Certifications

• Active ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science required, or must be obtained within one year from date of hire.
• Certification must remain current and in good standing throughout the duration of employment.
