Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including detailed physical examinations and comprehensive review of medical and surgical histories
• Support diagnostic workups through skilled interpretation of laboratory findings and imaging studies relevant to surgical planning
• Partner with attending surgeons to develop individualized, patient-centered treatment and surgical care plans
• Provide hands-on intraoperative assistance, including patient preparation, positioning, sterile field maintenance, and instrument management throughout procedures
• Oversee pre- and post-operative care with a focus on wound management, medication protocols, discharge coordination, and thorough patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a surgical concentration are strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active, unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Massachusetts state licensure as a Physician Assistant, or demonstrated eligibility to obtain
