• Perform a broad spectrum of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and vascular studies, with precision and clinical accuracy
• Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment at a high level of proficiency, consistently producing images that support clear and reliable interpretation
• Evaluate sonographic images in real time to identify potential abnormalities and relay findings to the supervising physician and care team
• Educate patients on what to expect during each procedure, addressing questions and maintaining comfort and calm from preparation through completion

Qualifications

Education

• Associate's Degree from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program required, OR demonstrated ARDMS eligibility

Licensure & Certifications

• ARDMS certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of ultrasound experience in a hospital setting required
• Previous hospital-based sonography experience is mandatory for this role
