MLR is seeking a motivated and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our dedicated imaging team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services, working with advanced MRI technology to support accurate diagnoses while prioritizing patient care, comfort, and safety.

Qualifications for an MRI Technologist:

• Completion of an accredited MRI or Radiologic Technology program (Associate’s degree or certificate).
• ARRT (MR) certification preferred, or eligibility to obtain certification.
• New graduates are welcome to apply; on-the-job training and mentorship available.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or must be obtained upon hire).

Responsibilities for an MRI Technologist:

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Position patients accurately and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring image quality and proper function.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and educate them on the exam process.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Maintain documentation and comply with safety and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, MRI safety zones).
