Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become an integral part of our expanding team of imaging professionals who are committed to delivering outstanding care. Utilizing state-of-the-art ultrasound technology, you will perform a range of diagnostic procedures, collaborate with an supportive team of healthcare providers, and help alleviate patients’ concerns through timely and precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive array of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, articulating each step with empathy and clarity
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to provide high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment efficiently while reporting any malfunctions in a timely manner
• Meticulously document procedures and maintain patient records using the electronic medical record system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging procedures and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
