What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations using standardized tools and clinical observation.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address communication, swallowing, voice, fluency, and cognitive-linguistic function.
• Deliver focused one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to each patient's unique goals and lived experience.
• Partner with a multidisciplinary team - including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and family caregivers - to ensure seamless, whole-person care.
• Provide meaningful education to patients and families so that progress extends well beyond the clinic walls.
• Support inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatment as needed, maintaining continuity across the care continuum.
• Produce accurate, timely clinical documentation that meets state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through continuing education, peer learning, and engagement with emerging evidence-based practices.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is still pending.

Certifications

• Active Massachusetts state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
