Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations across inpatient or outpatient settings and build individualized, goal-driven treatment plans
• Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions centered on restoring mobility, functional strength, coordination, and balance
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team — including physicians, nurses, case managers, and fellow rehab specialists — to deliver seamless, patient-centered care
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and discharge planning with clarity and compassion
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, session notes, and patient progress in alignment with facility and regulatory standards
• Contribute actively to care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to support coordinated, high-quality outcomes

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialty certifications in areas such as geriatrics, neurology, or orthopedics are welcomed but not required
