Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews prior to surgical intervention
• Interpret laboratory findings and diagnostic imaging to support surgical diagnosis and clinical decision-making
• Partner with attending surgeons to develop individualized, patient-centered treatment and operative plans
• Provide skilled intraoperative assistance including room preparation, patient positioning, and instrument management throughout procedures
• Oversee pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound care protocols, discharge coordination, and patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotation experience with a focus in surgical settings is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid Massachusetts Physician Assistant licensure or demonstrated eligibility to obtain
