Description

• Deliver focused one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to each patient's communication profile and functional goals.
• Work in close partnership with occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, nursing staff, and family members to ensure integrated, whole-person care.
• Educate patients and their support networks on strategies to reinforce therapeutic progress between clinical visits.
• Contribute to inpatient evaluations and treatment on an as-needed basis, supporting continuity of care across settings.
• Maintain thorough, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with state, federal, and facility requirements.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or actively in progress if ASHA certification has not yet been obtained.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Maryland.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
