Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations in inpatient or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions targeting strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence
• Partner closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and discharge planning strategies
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Actively contribute to interdisciplinary care conferences and rounds to support seamless, coordinated care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Maryland or eligibility to obtain licensure
• CPR certification preferred
• Advanced certifications in areas such as geriatrics, orthopedics, or neurology are welcomed but not required
