Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across inpatient and outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-driven care plans
• Deliver hands-on physical therapy interventions targeting strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence
• Work in close partnership with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and case managers to deliver seamless, patient-centered care
• Guide patients and their support systems through therapeutic goals, home exercise programming, and discharge preparation
• Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation in alignment with facility protocols and applicable regulatory standards
• Contribute actively to care team meetings, interdisciplinary rounds, and collaborative discharge planning sessions

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Maryland or eligibility to obtain licensure
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications such as neurological rehabilitation, geriatrics, or orthopedics are welcomed but not required
