What You Will Be Doing

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including detailed physical assessments and in-depth medical history reviews
• Interpret imaging and laboratory data to assist in the diagnosis and management of surgical conditions
• Partner with surgeons to design and carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
• Offer hands-on intraoperative assistance — from room preparation and patient positioning to instrument handling throughout procedures
• Oversee comprehensive pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care protocols, discharge coordination, and patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from a fully accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotation experience with a surgical concentration is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant or demonstrated eligibility to obtain
