Your Role as a CT Technologist:

As a CT Technologist, you’ll provide high-quality cross-sectional imaging that helps guide diagnosis and treatment. You’ll work closely with radiologists, providers, and support staff in a welcoming environment where your skills and attention to detail matter daily.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT Procedures: Operate CT scanners to acquire diagnostic images per physician orders.
• Patient Comfort & Communication: Explain procedures clearly and compassionately while ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Clinical Collaboration: Coordinate with physicians and imaging teams for accurate and timely results.
• Equipment Oversight: Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth workflow.
• Radiation Safety: Adhere to all ALARA principles and safety protocols.
• Record Keeping: Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain updated patient records.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Certification: ARRT (R) required; ARRT (CT) preferred or required within 6 months of hire.
• Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for Maine state licensure.
• Experience: 1+ year in CT preferred, but strong new grads are welcome to apply.
• Other: BLS certification required.
