Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations across inpatient or outpatient settings and build individualized, goal-driven treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions targeting mobility restoration, strength development, balance training, and functional independence
• Work alongside physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and discharge preparation
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, session notes, and progress in compliance with regulatory and facility standards
• Actively engage in interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences to promote cohesive, coordinated treatment

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent graduate degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Michigan or eligibility to obtain licensure
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialty certifications in areas such as geriatrics, neurology, or orthopedics are welcomed but not mandatory
