What You Will Be Doing

• Performing thorough patient evaluations including history, physical examination, and diagnostic interpretation
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, and episodic conditions either independently or in collaboration with attending physicians based on credentialing
• Developing and implementing individualized, evidence-based treatment and care plans
• Prescribing medications, therapies, and follow-up protocols within your full scope of practice
• Counseling patients and their families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and long-term disease management
• Contributing to interdisciplinary case discussions and coordinating seamless transitions of care
• Maintaining precise, timely documentation within electronic medical record platforms

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution
• Completion of a nationally recognized Nurse Practitioner training program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Michigan
• National board certification such as FNP-C through AANP or ANCC, or applicable specialty equivalent
