Job Highlights

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and in-depth reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions and interpreting necessary imaging and lab results
• Partner with surgeons to create and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing the operating room, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and transferring surgical instruments as needed
• Offer exceptional care pre- and post-surgery, covering medication administration, wound management, patient education, and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience with surgical rotations is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
