• Passing instruments, supplies, and equipment to surgeons and surgical assistants with accuracy and efficiency
• Managing surgical equipment and ensuring everything is accounted for before, during, and after operations
• Tracking and verifying instrument and sponge counts with meticulous care
• Collaborating fluidly with RNs, anesthesiologists, and attending surgeons to ensure seamless patient outcomes
• Following all infection prevention and safety protocols to maintain the highest standard of care

Education Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Required Certifications:

• Active CST credential through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• Current BLS certification, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
