Job Description

• Design Individualized Care Plans: Assess each patient holistically and craft personalized therapy strategies aligned with their unique functional goals and lifestyle needs
• Deliver Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply current, research-supported techniques to improve patients' fine motor function, cognitive abilities, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner daily with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, nurses, and social workers to deliver seamlessly integrated care
• Empower Patients and Families: Provide hands-on education and practical guidance to help patients and their support systems carry progress beyond the clinic walls
• Track Outcomes and Refine Approaches: Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of patient progress and adjust treatment plans proactively to keep recovery on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing professional development and advanced certifications are actively encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current, active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure in the state of Michigan
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
