What You Will Be Doing

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews

• Offer hands-on intraoperative support -- from room preparation and patient positioning to instrument handling throughout procedures
• Manage pre- and post-operative care with excellence, including medication management, wound care protocols, discharge coordination, and patient and family education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from a program accredited by the ARC-PA
• Clinical training or rotations with a surgical focus strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Michigan state PA licensure or demonstrated eligibility to obtain licensure
