About the Role

Your Core Responsibilities

• Conduct a broad range of ultrasound studies including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, musculoskeletal, and small parts examinations
• Guide patients through each procedure with empathy, clear communication, and a reassuring presence
• Partner with radiologists and referring providers to deliver accurate, timely, and clinically useful images
• Maintain and operate ultrasound systems with care, identifying and reporting technical issues as they arise
• Document all procedures thoroughly and manage patient records within the facility's electronic health system
• Pursue ongoing education in emerging sonographic techniques, tools, and industry standards

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Required Credentials

• Active ARDMS certification or an equivalent recognized credential in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• BLS certification preferred at time of hire
