Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Respond promptly to patient phone inquiries, triaging as necessary while offering reassurance, clear instructions, and education.
• Ensure smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and accurately documenting findings in electronic medical records.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management, including sample medications and maintaining logs.
• Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications, ensuring patients understand physician instructions and treatment plans.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Education and Experience Required:

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing program is required.

Work Shift:

Day shift, full-time (40 hours per week).
