Job Summary: Provide exceptional support to patients, healthcare providers, and team members by performing laboratory tests with precision, timeliness, and professionalism. Communicate test results effectively to ordering practitioners while maintaining a courteous and competent approach.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy in all laboratory testing procedures.
• Perform quality control, quality assurance, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Comply with all regulatory agency guidelines and standards.
• Manage workload efficiently and report any outstanding specimen issues.
• Assist with problem resolution and maintain productivity standards.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Experience:

At least one year of laboratory work experience post-training is recommended but not mandatory.

Licenses or Certifications:

American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) certification is preferred.

Work Shift:

Third shift, 40 hours per week.

This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
