Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a supportive environment that exemplifies best practices and outstanding customer service. This role fosters relationship-based care and upholds professional nursing standards guided by the ANA Code of Ethics, Nursing Process, and regulatory agency requirements. The position serves acute care departments including Medical Units, Surgery Units, Emergency Departments, Intensive Care, Childbirth Center, Pediatric Unit, Operating Room, Perianesthesia, Endoscopy/GI, and Cardiac Cath Lab.

Essential Responsibilities:

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school or, if unaccredited, a minimum of five years acute care nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is acceptable.
• Area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications to be obtained and maintained upon hire.

Licensure:

Current active Registered Nurse license as required by the state nursing board.

Work Shift:

Night shift, full-time (36 hours weekly).

This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
