Overview: Join a dynamic clinical team providing compassionate patient care in a neurology practice located in the Midwest region. This role supports healthcare delivery and patient management with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal clinical signs to identify at-risk patients.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries via telephone, providing reassurance, education, and appropriate triage.
• Ensure smooth patient flow by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints accurately.
• Observe and report abnormal patient symptoms to physicians, maintaining thorough and precise medical records.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings.
• Manage medication samples and logs, coordinate patient testing and admissions, and facilitate referrals as needed.
• Provide patient education materials and ensure patients understand treatment plans and medication instructions.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs under physician guidance.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments according to protocols.

Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.

Work Schedule: Full-time, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week.
