Overview: This role is dedicated to managing and overseeing supply chain operations for medical/surgical and surgical services inventories. You will lead logistics, shipping/receiving, and distribution efforts across a regional healthcare network in the Midwest. As a key member of the supply chain leadership team, you will help develop processes and implement strategic goals to optimize department performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage supply chain planning and operations to ensure timely availability of supplies supporting all departments.
• Lead execution of supply chain initiatives and collaborate with team members to meet organizational goals.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting and oversee expense reconciliation for operations.
• Supervise operations associates, including training, scheduling, assignments, discipline, and performance evaluations.
• Enforce best practices in receiving, including use of automated tools, shipment inspection, and documentation for chain of custody.
• Maintain accuracy and discipline in perpetual inventory transactions, providing guidance to associates to ensure excellent service levels.
• Develop and maintain a PAR (Periodic Automatic Replenishment) program, including regular reviews and communication enhancement between internal customers and supply chain.
• Serve as subject matter expert for the Workday Inventory module and related perpetual inventory information.
• Act as a primary supply chain contact for internal customers, ensuring effective communication with clinical and non-clinical leadership.
• Collaborate with supply chain leaders to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations.

Certifications: Preferred certifications include Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) and Supplier Professional in Supply Management (SPSM).
