Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Respond promptly to patient phone inquiries, triaging as necessary while offering reassurance, education, and clear instructions.
• Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints.
• Observe and report abnormal patient signs to physicians, ensuring accurate and timely medical record documentation.
• Assist with testing and treatment procedures under physician supervision, including applying splints, dressings, and managing sample medications and logs.
• Coordinate patient testing, admissions, referrals, and follow-up on test results, ensuring patients understand physician instructions upon discharge.
• Support minor surgical preparations and physical exams, obtaining necessary consents for invasive procedures and immunizations.
• Distribute educational materials and assist patients in understanding treatment plans and medication usage.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, ensuring cleanliness, sterilizing instruments, and verifying equipment functionality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.

Work Shift: 1st Shift, full-time (40 hours per week)
