Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk clients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging as necessary while offering reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients.
• Facilitate smooth healthcare service delivery throughout patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and accurately documenting findings in electronic medical records.
• Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, ensuring thorough documentation and patient understanding of discharge instructions.
• Support physicians during testing, treatment procedures, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints, managing sample medications, and arranging referrals and admissions.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs, assist with patient education, and ensure all clinical areas are well-stocked, clean, and organized according to protocols.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.
