Job Summary: Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical setting. This role involves assisting with patient management and supporting healthcare providers to ensure smooth and effective service delivery.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients.
• Respond to patient inquiries via phone, offering reassurance, education, and appropriate triage.
• Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits, including preparing patients for exams and obtaining vital signs such as weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate.
• Observe and communicate abnormal patient symptoms to physicians, documenting all findings accurately in medical records.
• Assist with testing and treatment procedures under physician supervision, including applying splints, dressings, and managing sample medications.
• Coordinate patient testing, admissions, referrals, and follow-up on test results, ensuring patients understand physician instructions upon discharge.
• Support minor surgical preparations and physical exams, obtaining necessary consents for invasive procedures and immunizations.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.

Work Shift: 1st Shift, full-time (40 hours per week)

This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
