Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk clients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging calls appropriately while offering reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients.
• Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery throughout patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and accurately documenting findings in electronic medical records.
• Observe and communicate any abnormal patient signs to physicians, ensuring thorough documentation and patient understanding of discharge instructions.
• Support physicians during testing, treatment procedures, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints, dressings, and managing sample medications.
• Coordinate patient testing, admissions, referrals, and follow-up on test results, ensuring patients are well-informed.
• Assist with patient education, medication instructions, and maintain laboratory logs as required.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, adapting to the dynamic needs of the healthcare environment.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is essential.

Work Shift: Day shift, full-time (40 hours per week).
