Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a supportive environment that exemplifies best practices and outstanding customer service. Acute care settings include Medical Units, Surgery Units, Emergency Departments, Intensive Care Unit, Childbirth Center, Pediatric Unit, Operating Room, Perianesthesia, Endoscopy/GI, and Cardiac Cath Lab.

Essential Responsibilities:

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school or, if unaccredited, a minimum of five years acute care nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is acceptable.
• Area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications must be obtained and maintained.

Licensure:

Current active Registered Nurse license as required by the state nursing board.
