Job Summary: Provide compassionate clinical support and assist in patient care management within a dynamic healthcare setting. Responsibilities adapt to the evolving needs of the practice to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk individuals. Follow established standards and guidelines to ensure quality care.
• Manage patient interactions efficiently throughout visits, including accurate completion and updating of medical records. Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and relevant health history, and communicate abnormal findings to the physician.
• Support physicians during testing, treatment procedures, minor surgeries, and physical exams. Assist with splinting, dressing, medication samples, and maintain related logs. Coordinate patient referrals, testing, and admissions as needed.
• Provide patient education and ensure understanding of treatment plans and medication instructions. Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab documentation.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.

This position offers varied shifts within a regional healthcare environment in the Midwest, providing approximately 24 hours weekly with a schedule that includes one weekend per month.
