Job Summary: Join a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to supporting patient care and clinical operations in a dynamic pediatric setting. This role involves assisting healthcare providers by delivering attentive and efficient patient care, tailored to the needs of the practice at any given time.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Manage patient interactions including telephone triage, offering reassurance, clear instructions, and education to patients and families.
• Ensure smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and accurately documenting all information in electronic medical records.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and sample medication management. Facilitate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.

Work Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm, 40 hours per week.
