Job Summary: Provide essential support to inpatients, outpatients, healthcare associates, and physicians by accurately and courteously collecting laboratory specimens. Perform related laboratory duties with professionalism and competence.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy in specimen collection and patient identification.
• Adhere strictly to all regulatory agency guidelines and quality assurance/quality control protocols.
• Manage workload efficiently and monitor outstanding specimen reports.
• Resolve problems promptly and maintain productivity standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program or relevant post-medical training is required.
• At least one year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Work Shift:

First shift, 40 hours per week.

This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
