Job Summary: This role is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering to infection control standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
• Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste.
• Adhere strictly to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with team members and work independently to fulfill department requirements.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Previous related experience is advantageous.
• Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience is desirable.

Work Schedule: First shift hours, with part-time weekly hours totaling approximately 18.75. Weekend and holiday rotations may be required.
