Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering strictly to infection control protocols and facility standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and supplies, ensuring proper operation and maintenance.
• Handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Adhere to all infection prevention and safety policies.
• Collaborate effectively with team members while also working independently to fulfill department needs.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Previous experience in a related role is advantageous.
• Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience is desirable.

Work Schedule: First shift, approximately 37.5 hours per week, with rotating holiday and weekend duties.

This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
