Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a dynamic environment that upholds professional nursing standards and fosters relationship-based care. This role emphasizes best practices and exceptional customer service within acute care settings such as Medical Units, Surgery Units, Emergency Departments, Intensive Care, Childbirth, Pediatrics, Operating Room, Perianesthesia, Endoscopy/GI, and Cardiac Cath Lab.

Essential Responsibilities:

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or, if unaccredited, a minimum of five years acute care nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is acceptable.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Current active Registered Nurse license as required by the state nursing board.

This position offers a second shift schedule with 36 hours per week in a regional healthcare setting located in the Midwest United States.
