Job Summary: Provide compassionate and efficient clinical support in a fast-paced immediate care setting. Responsibilities adapt daily to meet the evolving needs of the practice, ensuring excellent patient care and smooth healthcare delivery.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal clinical signs to identify at-risk patients. Follow established standards and guidelines to ensure quality care.
• Manage patient flow efficiently throughout visits, including preparing patients for examination, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints.
• Communicate abnormal findings promptly to physicians and accurately document all patient interactions and billing information in electronic medical records.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams. Handle sample medications and maintain related logs.
• Coordinate patient testing, admissions, referrals, and follow-up on test results, ensuring patients understand physician instructions and treatment plans.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Perform laboratory tests and treatments as prescribed, maintaining laboratory logs and adhering to safety protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.

This role offers varied shifts with approximately 24 hours scheduled weekly, including one weekend per month. The position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
