Job Summary: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate patient care and clinical support in a dynamic practice setting. This role involves assisting with patient management, performing clinical tasks, and ensuring smooth healthcare delivery throughout each patient visit.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients.
• Provide reassurance, accurate education, and clear instructions to patients, responding promptly to telephone triage.
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints, while ensuring medical records are accurate and up to date.
• Communicate abnormal patient findings to physicians and document thoroughly in electronic medical records.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints, dressings, and administering immunizations with proper consent.
• Manage sample medications, coordinate patient testing and referrals, and notify patients of test results.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Alternatively, a minimum of five years of relevant clinical experience in a medical practice.

This position offers a full-time schedule on the first shift, serving patients in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest.
