Job Summary: Join a compassionate healthcare team providing clinical support and patient care management in a dynamic outpatient setting. This role adapts daily to meet the evolving needs of the practice, ensuring patients receive attentive and professional care.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk individuals. Provide reassurance, education, and clear guidance to patients.
• Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for exams, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints accurately.
• Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to providers, ensuring thorough documentation in electronic medical records and accurate billing entries.
• Support physicians with testing, treatments, minor procedures, and medication management, including sample medications and logs.
• Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up communications, ensuring patients understand discharge instructions and treatment plans.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.

This position offers a part-time, as-needed schedule with typical hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role is based in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
