Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) providing compassionate, patient- and family-centered respiratory care. This role emphasizes best practices and relationship-based care while upholding professional respiratory therapy standards. You will perform comprehensive age-specific assessments, collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather medical histories, and document findings accurately. Your expertise will guide diagnosis by identifying physical, psychosocial, cultural, and safety needs, prioritizing care accordingly. You will develop and revise individualized care plans in partnership with the healthcare team and patients, ensuring optimal outcomes through evidence-based interventions. Responsibilities include evaluating the effectiveness of treatments, patient responses, and education efforts, adjusting care plans as needed. This position requires a warm, collaborative approach and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Education: Graduation from a CoARC-accredited respiratory therapy program is required, with an Associate Degree or equivalent as a minimum; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Experience and Requirements: Active credentialing as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care is mandatory, along with licensure as a Respiratory Care Provider by the relevant state health bureau. Candidates should demonstrate competence in respiratory therapy assessments, treatment modalities, life support certifications, critical thinking, and priority setting. This part-time role offers a weekend schedule with 24 hours weekly on the first shift.
