Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering to infection control standards and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
• Clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment following established protocols.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
• Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste.
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and work independently to fulfill department objectives.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Previous experience in a related cleaning or support services role is advantageous.
• Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience is desirable.

Work Schedule: Full-time, first shift (8 AM - 4 PM) with weekend and holiday rotations required.

This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
