Work Areas: Opportunities exist across various acute care settings including Medical and Surgery Units, Emergency Departments, Intensive Care, Childbirth Center, Pediatrics, Operating Room, Perianesthesia, Endoscopy/GI, and Cardiac Cath Lab.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term goals.
• Apply clinical expertise to make appropriate patient care assignments based on acuity and technical needs.
• Engage in ongoing education to incorporate evidence-based practices and promote cost-effective care.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent experience with at least five years in acute care if from a non-accredited school.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in an accelerated MSN program is also accepted.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty credentials as required.

Licensure:

Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the appropriate state nursing board.

Work Schedule:

Evening shift from 6:00pm to 6:00am, 36 hours per week.

This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
