Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Respond promptly to patient calls, triaging effectively while offering reassurance, clear instructions, and education.
• Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for exams, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints accurately.
• Monitor patients for abnormal symptoms, communicate findings to physicians, and ensure thorough documentation in medical records.
• Support physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgical preparations, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings under supervision.
• Manage medication samples and logs, coordinate necessary patient testing and referrals, and communicate test results to patients.
• Ensure all patient care areas and equipment are well-stocked, clean, sterile, and organized according to protocols.
• Assist with patient education, ensuring understanding of treatment plans and medication usage.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned, adapting to the clinic’s needs.

Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required.

This role offers a day shift schedule with a 40-hour workweek, serving patients in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest.
