Job Summary: Provide essential support to nursing practice and patient care through a blend of direct care, communication, and clerical duties.

Essential Responsibilities:

Fiscal Responsibility: Efficiently manage supplies and equipment, complete tasks promptly, adhere to shift schedules, and support unit goals to reduce waste.

Quality: Participate in documentation per unit standards, stay current with policy updates, problem-solve, multitask within scope, and contribute ideas to improve workflow and patient experience.

Patient Satisfaction: Promote positive patient interactions through timely responses, professional conduct, purposeful rounding, and maintaining a quiet, respectful environment.

Patient Safety: Practice safe patient mobilization, use two patient identifiers for all tasks, report unusual occurrences, and adjust care routines to individual needs while adhering to privacy policies.

Professional Growth: Share knowledge with colleagues, demonstrate leadership, participate in training and council activities, and seek opportunities for personal and unit development.

Customer Service: Engage patients and families with professionalism, flexibility, and teamwork, practicing AIDET communication techniques and fostering positive interdepartmental relationships.

Education and Experience Required:
- High school diploma or GED, or current/past CNA license, or completion of a CNA program with 5+ years of CNA experience accepted in lieu of diploma.
- Basic BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
