Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk clients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.
• Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging as necessary while offering reassurance, clear education, and guidance to patients.
• Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery during patient visits by ensuring medical records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints; observe and communicate abnormal findings to physicians and document accordingly.
• Ensure patients understand physician instructions upon discharge and accurately document all medical record entries and billing information.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatment procedures, minor surgeries, and physicals, including applying splints and dressings under supervision.
• Manage sample medications and logs, arrange necessary testing or admissions, obtain referrals, and notify patients of test results.
• Obtain consents prior to invasive procedures or immunizations and distribute educational materials to support patient understanding of treatments and medications.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, ensuring cleanliness, and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, adapting to the dynamic needs of the clinical setting.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Program or an accredited Nursing Program.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week.
