Overview: Explore the healthcare field through a unique job shadowing experience designed for individuals eager to observe and learn about specific clinical roles. This opportunity offers a one-time, unpaid observation to help you determine if a particular healthcare position aligns with your career goals.

Program Details: Participants will shadow healthcare providers or teams to gain firsthand insight into daily responsibilities and work environments. Scheduling is coordinated by a dedicated Volunteer Services team, who strive to match you with the most relevant and enriching experience based on your interests.

Education & Age Requirements

• Minimum age of 16 for standard shadowing experiences; some roles require participants to be 18 or older.
• Observation only; no hands-on participation.

Experience & Documentation

• Shadowing duration does not exceed 7 days.
• Submission of vaccine records and any additional documentation as requested by the Volunteer Services coordinator is mandatory.
• Applications must specify areas of interest and availability dates at least 3 weeks to a month in advance; early or vague applications will not be considered.

Additional Notes: For those interested in the Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) pathway, direct contact with the relevant medical school is recommended for shadowing opportunities.
