Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering strictly to infection control and safety protocols. The individual will play a vital part in maintaining operational cleanliness and supporting patient care areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and supplies, ensuring they are safe for use.
• Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste in compliance with safety standards.
• Adhere to all infection prevention and safety policies.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to fulfill department objectives.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Previous experience in a related support services role is advantageous.
• Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended.

Work Schedule: Second shift, approximately 37.5 hours per week.

This position is located in a regional healthcare facility within the Midwest United States.
