Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients.
• Respond to patient inquiries via telephone, triaging appropriately while offering reassurance, education, and clear guidance.
• Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories and chief complaints.
• Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, ensuring accurate and timely medical record documentation.
• Assist with testing, treatment procedures, minor surgeries, and physical exams under physician supervision, including applying splints and dressings.
• Manage sample medications and logs, arrange necessary patient testing or admissions, and obtain appropriate referrals and consents for invasive procedures or immunizations.
• Distribute patient education materials and confirm patient understanding of treatment plans and medication usage.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain laboratory logs as prescribed.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, ensuring cleanliness, sterilizing instruments, and verifying equipment functionality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.

Education and Experience Required:

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.
