Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Safety: Integrate safe patient care practices daily, including fall prevention, safe mobilization, medication administration, and patient identification. Report near misses and engage in proactive safety processes. Adhere to Just Culture principles, HIPAA, and national safety standards.
• Professional Growth: Demonstrate leadership through charge RN duties, mentoring, and precepting. Maintain licensure and pursue certifications, advanced degrees, and leadership opportunities. Stay current with practice standards and track professional development.

Education and Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems is necessary.
• At least three years of recent critical care nursing experience is required.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse licensure by the appropriate state board.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications as required.
