Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a supportive environment that exemplifies best practices and outstanding customer service. The position involves shared leadership responsibilities within acute care settings including medical, surgical, emergency, intensive care, childbirth, pediatric, operating room, and specialty units.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term objectives.
• Apply current knowledge and technical skills to deliver high-quality patient care and make appropriate patient assignments based on acuity and expertise.
• Engage in ongoing education to incorporate evidence-based practices and promote cost-saving initiatives.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating respect, integrity, collaboration, empathy, and professionalism in interactions with patients, families, providers, and colleagues.
• Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment by adhering to safety protocols, noise reduction, and privacy standards.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent experience with at least five years of acute care nursing if from a non-accredited program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in advanced degree programs is accepted.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications as required.

Licensure:

• Current active Registered Nurse license as required by the applicable state nursing board.

Work Shift: Night shift, full-time, 36 hours per week.
